Carbon Calculated had a productive team workshop at Soil for Life in Constantia, Cape Town led and facilitated by Carbon Calculated Managing Partner, Nici Palmer.
Given the rapidly evolving carbon and climate landscape, the aim for the day was to discuss and strategise the best way for the business to build upon and enhance its current offerings so as to best benefit the clients we serve.
Our team each specialises in different aspects of the business and assist clients at various stages in their respective carbon management journey’s. First, we have our data analysts, who collect and analyse emissions data provided by our clients and develop carbon footprint reports based on their findings. Then we have our CDP specialists, who assist local, and globally positioned, clients with their annual water, forestry and climate disclosures. Next, are our Science-based targets specialists who support our clients in their science-based target setting journey in accordance with the Science Based Targets initiative. We also have in-house Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) specialists who assist our forward-thinking clients with implementing associated recommendations.
At the workshop each team member provided extensive input in terms of how they felt Carbon Calculated could improve and develop its service offerings based on their experience and sphere of focus within the business. At the end of the day the team had collectively delivered exciting new innovative ideas which we are working toward implementing over the next few months. While most of our ideas remain under lock and key for the time being, we can tell you, exclusively, that we have updated our logo. Keep an eye out in January 2023 for its launch!
